Thank you for joining me here! I’ve been a passionate student and teacher for most of my adult life. I started the journey of learning as a student & then teacher in a Japanese Martial art. This led to my introduction to yoga and my deepdive “down the rabbit hole”. I offer Hatha, Vinyasa, Core Power yoga, Slow Flow, Yin yoga, Myo Fascia Release, Restorative Yoga, Meditation & Yoga Nidra classes and workshops. I am currently teaching online classes & in person at studios on the Northern Beaches of New South Wales. I look forward to sharing a practice with you. 

Holistic Yoga Journey

Dedicated to Wellness and being the best version of myself

I embarked on holistic journey in my early twenties, studying as a student in a Traditional Japanese Martial Art which led to travelling to Japan to study and obtaining a Fifth degree Black Belt. Teaching was a natural progression and operated a studio in Surry Hills, NSW for 10 years. This led to an introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qi Gong, Reiki, Shiatsu, NLP, and studying a BA in Human Movements, UTS Ku ring gai, NSW.

After becoming injured I was Introduced to yoga to support recovery. This led to a more regular practice over the next decade and then studying with outstanding teachers and exceptional mentors the traditions, philosophy, tools, techniques and methods of Hatha yoga and Yin yoga. Teaching full time for the last 6 years, I feel incredibly grateful for the privilege to teach and to create a space for my students to create a body and mind connection using breathe and movement.

Breathe-Move-Be Yoga Studio Zoom Online classes. Have a look at the styles and descriptions in the Book Online link which may  be helpful when making a choice of what sort of class you would like to explore.  Class schedule MONDAY : Vinyasa Flow  7.30-8.30am.  FRIDAY : Slow Flow  7.30-8.30am.

My classes support students to create a body and mind connection using breathe and movement. You will always find in my classes a variety of traditional and modern practices in movement, pranayama and meditation. With a sprinkling of philosophy both traditional and modern weaved into the class encouraging students to "practice the practice' both in and off the mat. 

 

What to expect:

My classes are  welcoming  inclusive, safe and suitable for all levels. Students are encouraged to challenge, modify and rest when needed and to practice their own unique form of yoga. My mantra in class is "you do you" drop the ego.
